At Venturi Healthcare continuously strive to provide the highest standard of care for our residents, as such both family member and resident feedback is extremely important to us. Here you will see a selection of the comments and feedback received from families in regard to the care their loved ones are receiving within our homes.
My mum has been here for 2 and a half years. The home feels like a home and everyone from care staff to office, to cleaners are all friendly and helpful. The manager is very approachable. My mum is very happy here, she says it is the best place we could have picked for her.
My mother became a resident in September and right from day one I knew she would feel at home. My mum has dementia and has trouble with her mobility but the staff always make sure that she is included in all activities. They have looked after her brilliantly and inform me that she joins in and has other residents laughing. I cannot praise the staff highly enough including the management team. Thank you for all your help and support and for making my mum feel like one of the family.
I wish to commend the Activities Co-ordinator for his caring, dedicated manner. He organises many events to enrich the lives of the residents, such as the cinema club and regular live music performances. The particular act I wish to commend the activities co-ordinator for, is when he took my mother and father’s wedding photo away to mend the frame. This was a kind and generous act which is typical of him.
My father was nursed/cared for at the Victoria. He had been in their care for over 2 years. He died in his sleep on the 25th February this year. He was the ripe old age of 96. The care he received at the Vic has been in my opinion exceptional right up until the end of life. He was loved and cared for over and above. He was as happy and content as he possibly could be. The staff on all levels were brilliant, nothing was ever too much trouble. I could not have wished for anything better. They have the utmost respect.
My aunt is a dementia patient at The Victoria and is therefore unable to give information herself. We – as her family have nothing but praise for every aspect of my aunts care. The home is bright, clean, warm and spacious. The staff are caring, kind and considerate. My aunt has always enjoyed her food and the menus appear to be well planned and varied and enjoyed. The recreational facilities are extremely good and well implemented.
After a bad experience elsewhere, we watched carefully here. The staff are caring in its true sense, and do all they can to make our friend happy. I can truly recommend Mother Redcaps. We call in once or twice a day and our friend is always being cared for. All her and our needs are met here. In my opinion staff are kind committed and go above and beyond to find the right treatment. They have restored our trust in the care system.
